Sadie's Pre-K Graduation

My baby is off to Transitional Kindergarten in the fall! I know, I can't believe it either. So get ready for a picture overload.

They always ask what the kids want to be when they grow up. Sadie answered, "A doctor, a dentist and a zoo helper."
She had a huge smile on her face when she walked out. So proud of herself.
Singing some cute songs. They did Baby Beluga, Slippery Fish and Kindergarten, here we come!

 She's a shark!

With Miss Gina getting her certificate.
Grandpy Banks was there to cheer her on!
John and me with our muchkin!
Memere was so happy for Sadie!
 Grammy and Pop Pop too!!!
The Hunter kids with Miss Noelle. She taught all 3 of them. So far our big kids have excelled in school, and I know Miss Noelle had something to do with that!
And the Hunter 5. Thanks Memere for the picture!
We are so excited for Sadie to start elementary school. We know she will love it just like her brother and sister do.

Just Some Silliness

Seems like there are a lot of moments I don't want to forget. A lot of things I want out there so they don't get lost. These are some of them....

Julie is seriously the best sister. She dotes on Sadie. Helps Andy. Does whatever needs to be done. She is just an awesome human.
And apparently she likes making funny faces for the camera like Mom! I know Dad is usually a fan too. This was on the train at Santa Barbara Zoo.
 Girls picture!!
Sadie and her favorite chicken, Rosie.
Julie is the photobomb master. This was after Sadie made me a cool necklace.
Me with my favorite chicken, Lightning.
The kids had 80's day at school. Andy totally reminded me of Back to the Future.
Julie was totally feeling it too. Funny thing is, these were all her regular clothes!
We have been having fun cheering for Andy while he plays Flag Football. This was Sadie cheering at last weeks game.
Daddy and me at the Blue's game last weekend! So much fun!

Tractor Show

Every year there is a big tractor show out at the ranch. We went this year and saw some really cool tractors.
This one is one of our favorites and happens to belong to a friend of ours.   Can you believe how grown up Julie looks?
Andy was beyond excited. We also went on the train and got to stand by the runway when a huge plane took off. It was pretty amazing.

Mother's Day

As always, I was spoiled rotten this Mother's day. Showered with love, gifts, flowers and breakfast.   These 3 know the way to my heart!
After my basketball game, we took Memere out to lunch and had cupcakes. It was a great day to spend together as a family.

Easter Camping

This year we were able to get away for a few days at Easter. We rented a trailer and camped at the beach! It was a great vacation, just the 5 of us.

We love camping next to the beach where we can go play in the sand whenever we want. This camp site happened to be really windy, so we were very happy to have the trailer.
The Easter Bunny was able to find our campsite and left lots of eggs for the kids to find.
 Aren't we cute!
We took some amazing hikes up into Big Sur. It was really amazing to hike into the green hills with our big kids who we have to keep up with.

Sometimes I made them pose for pictures. The all rolled thier eyes, but did it anyway.

Look at those views. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.

Sadie is getting even better at hiking and does a great job keeping up with the big kids.
The kids have caught the camping bug, I am sure there will be much more of it this summer!

Basketball

One great thing about the kids getting older is they are getting better and more involved in their sports. And with basketball, I am lucky enough to be their coach!
This year they were on different teams, since Julie is in an older division now. They both missed the first part of the season thanks to their injuries. But when they got back on the court, they did great. Julie is really getting to be a great ball handler and her defense, as always, is her strong suit. The girls team was so much fun. They were sassy, but very fun and loving.
Andy enjoys playing, he loves being out there with his buddies. He did great this year, much more involved, tried his hardest and made lots of awesome plays. And he still gives me a hug at each quarter and time out.
I really lucked out on both my teams this year and am so proud of my big kids for being examples to their teammates and for having a great attitude even though they didn't get to play the whole season.

Hair Cut!!

If you remember, Julie cut her hair and donated it a year and a half ago. Sadie all of a sudden started talking about how Sissy did that and how she wanted to be like her. I didn't believe her at first because she talks a lot about cutting her hair but always changes her mind at the last minute.

But this time it stuck and she wanted to cut her hair and donate it. So we did!!  It was so long and so hard to keep up with. The lady who cut her hair was so sweet to her and even got a little teared up when we were all done.
Sadie LOVES her new do. She loves being able to brush her own hair and not needing to have it braided and de-tangled every day. She loves that she has hair like Sissy now!  She looks so much older, like a totally different kid. But we all love it and think it suits our big girl!
