4th, 3rd, TK!

Whelp, that summer flew by! It is time for school once again! And everyone is so excited!! The first morning started off great, everyone was happy and couldn't get ready fast enough. We had PLENTY of time for pictures and walking to school.

Yay! All the kids at the same school! It is going to be a big year! I can't believe Sadie is up the hill with her big siblings.
Daddy was able to get off for a few minutes to bring Sadie into her first day. She barely looked back at us, she was so excited. She has lots of sweet friends in her class, a few from her preschool and I am sure she will be friends with everyone in the class in no time at all.
This school year is off to a great start!

Big Trip to Oregon!

This summer, our big family vacation was to Oregon! We were so excited to go up and spend time with the Banks family.

The kids had been missing her cousins like crazy. Sadie and Lauren were inseparable.
We had some pretty silly times while we were there. It was so fun just hanging out, spending time together.
And maybe getting tickled a little.
We tried to take a nice picture, its hard to get a good shot of everyone but this one turned out pretty awesome. Can't believe how big these babies are getting.
Uncle Justin got us tickets to the Eugene Emeralds baseball game. We all had a lot of fun. The stadium was beautiful. The kids loved the bounce houses and blow up slides they had. Oh, and the ice cream of course.
 Say cheese Memere!
John found his long lost cousin!!! Can you see the family resembulance?
We went to a great U-pick farm. We picked berries and peaches. It was a lovely day. And Julie posed in front of the chickens for me. They were hers, afterall.
Jemma loved her big cousin. Julie loved helping take care of her and carrying her when she got tired. They really bonded over this trip.
Yay! Of course I was happy to see this guy.
 All 5 of them!
We went on a hike up the highest peak in Eugene. Sadie and Lauren were hiking buddies.
The top was amazing. We just sat up at the top for a while and enjoyed the view.
We also went to a Natural History Museum that was part of the University of Oregon. Andy could have spent the entire day there, and we almost did. He loved all the history of the area. He especially loved this giant creature's fossilized bones.
 Silly Cousins!
Anna and Elsa stopped by for a visit too!
John and I had a chance to go on a date while we were there. Of course we had to go over and check out Springfield. The Simpsons mural was pretty great. We also saw Moe's Tavern. But we didn't go in, looked pretty questionable!
These 5. They love each other so. This was after a super game of mini golf!
We had so much fun in Oregon. We can't wait to go again!! We fit a lot in, but we can never get enough of our cousins!

4th of July

Per the usual, the 4th of July was a great hometown celebration. We went down to the parade and enjoyed time with family and friends!
We always love getting to celebrate Auntie Arlene's birthday with her. Carter even made a little guest appearance. He was happy to give his Memere a birthday hug!

 Snuggles with Memere!
Silly Cisneros family! 4th of July wouldn't be the same without these guys!
Just us Hunter girls, burning some time before the parade.
We are so lucky to live in a place that has such fun and wholesome celebrations. And, all we have to do is walk a few blocks!

Last day of School

I am always amazed at how much the kids grow during a school year. This year was no exception. The left is the first day of school, the right is the last.
2nd and 3rd grade were pretty awesome years. Of course, with teachers this great, how can you not have a great year.  Miss Eddy was wonderful for Andy. He has excelled this year.
And you can't get any better that Mrs. Teel. After 2 years in her class, Julie is going to miss her like crazy!
So we move on, to 3rd and 4th. AND! A T-k'er. Sadie will be at the same school as the big kids next year! It will be so great for her, she is so ready. And excited to be where brother and sister are.

Julie's Running!

Julie decided that she wanted to run a race with us. So she practiced, went on a few good runs with us and signed up to run the Lighthouse 5k.
It is a super hilly course, but she ran the ENTIRE THING! She did so well. She chatted with us while we all chugged along. It was great fun running with our girl who is growing up so fast!

Sadie's Pre-K Graduation

My baby is off to Transitional Kindergarten in the fall! I know, I can't believe it either. So get ready for a picture overload.

They always ask what the kids want to be when they grow up. Sadie answered, "A doctor, a dentist and a zoo helper."
She had a huge smile on her face when she walked out. So proud of herself.
Singing some cute songs. They did Baby Beluga, Slippery Fish and Kindergarten, here we come!

 She's a shark!

With Miss Gina getting her certificate.
Grandpy Banks was there to cheer her on!
John and me with our muchkin!
Memere was so happy for Sadie!
 Grammy and Pop Pop too!!!
The Hunter kids with Miss Noelle. She taught all 3 of them. So far our big kids have excelled in school, and I know Miss Noelle had something to do with that!
And the Hunter 5. Thanks Memere for the picture!
We are so excited for Sadie to start elementary school. We know she will love it just like her brother and sister do.

Just Some Silliness

Seems like there are a lot of moments I don't want to forget. A lot of things I want out there so they don't get lost. These are some of them....

Julie is seriously the best sister. She dotes on Sadie. Helps Andy. Does whatever needs to be done. She is just an awesome human.
And apparently she likes making funny faces for the camera like Mom! I know Dad is usually a fan too. This was on the train at Santa Barbara Zoo.
 Girls picture!!
Sadie and her favorite chicken, Rosie.
Julie is the photobomb master. This was after Sadie made me a cool necklace.
Me with my favorite chicken, Lightning.
The kids had 80's day at school. Andy totally reminded me of Back to the Future.
Julie was totally feeling it too. Funny thing is, these were all her regular clothes!
We have been having fun cheering for Andy while he plays Flag Football. This was Sadie cheering at last weeks game.
Daddy and me at the Blue's game last weekend! So much fun!
