18 Months!

I can't believe our little munchkin is 18 months old today!  She is such a spunky little babe.  Well, she really isn't little, and she is showing us daily how she is not much of a baby either.

This morning I took these "before and after" pictures. When she wakes up her hair is all wild and she loves it, but gets frusterated quickly by it being in her face. She looks like a completely different kid with her hair back and tidy.

She is talking like crazy these days. She can say so many words and is even starting to put some words together.  Her vocabulary so far, that I can think of: Momma, Dadda (which she also uses for dog), Anda (both Julie and Andy), Grandma, Memere, Pop-pop, Feather, owl, more, step, up, down, milk, water (wawa), truck, bird (chickens she calls boch bochs and horses she calls neighs), sock, shoe, bath, this, that, yes, no no, thank you, love you, off, on, ball, baby, choo choo (train), hot, hat, ouch, owie, door, all done (complete with hand motions), spider (from Itsy Bitsy Spider).... ok, I can't think of any more. She says things like "sock off" and "bath up". She communicates so well.  The other night she heard John pull in the drive way and she said, "Dadda truck!" when she heard it!

Tonight we went up to the elementary school to go to the Spring Carnival with Memere and Grammy. The big kids played games and Sadie ran after them. When it was time to go, I tried to bribe Sadie with a cookie, but she was not leaving with out a cupcake. She enjoyed it, obviously.
Sadie loves her brother and sister so much. She is constantly trying to keep up with them, talk to them, hug them and love on them.  She was sitting next to Andy the other morning and was petting his head. Just rubbing his head. They love each other so much.  When she needs help with a toy or anything, she goes to Julie. She knows Julie will always help her.

Of course she is also a total silly goober, just like Julie and Andy. She makes funny faces, bear crawls and tickles us all the time.
As I type, she is attempting somersaults in her bed. I love this little munchkin and everything she brings to our sweet family
