4th of July

As always, 4th of July was a great day filled with lots of great friends.  We started the day with the Santa Margarita Parade. It is our favorite parade and we love meeting up with all our friends and family to watch it.

This is as close to a family picture as we got for the day, at least all 5 of us are in it, even though 3 didn't know they were getting their picture taken.  Notice Julie's skirt...I made that for her the year I was pregnant with Sadie. She wears it all the time, not just for the holiday.
Lots of fun friends watching the parade!
This picture cracks me up. I think I just caught it at the right time, Julie wasn't really upset, I don't think.
Some Mommies actually got in front of the camera! Amazing! Lucky to have such great friends.

Our goofy 3 in their red, white and blue.
Yay, more Mommies!
Love this shot of these 2 cuties. So grateful John was able to get off work to join us at the parade!
School friends! Taylor, the cute blonde in the middle, was in Andy's class last year. Even though she is going to Mission this year, they are determined to stay friends. And her mom and I are doing our best to make it happen.

After the parade we went out to lunch for Auntie Arlene's birthday! It was great fun and Sadie wore a lobster hat!
That night we finished the holiday off with a movie in the park and more time with family and friends! Such a great way to spend the 4th of July.
