So I am getting ready to make a quilt for our new baby girl. I have only ever made one quilt before and that was for Veda. In order to get inspired, I pulled up the pictures of the blanket I made for her just a few months back.

I love the corduroy the best, it gave it a beautiful weight.

The binding also turned out really well. Thanks to some one on one tutoring from a great and talented friend.

Yup, will for sure do a similar trim and corduroy. But probably brighter colors, with more of a springy theme. She is going to be born in the cold, so something sunny would be good.

That is SO Bess! But I think yours will like something a little brighter. The corduroy is so cool. {:
It will be gorgeous, perfectly and lovingly made for Sadie with all of your creativity and talent, nothing could be finer!!!! Love you,
Anne/emil
We loooooooove our quilt. Thank you so very much. I can't wait to see the one you make for the new baby. Is her name going to be Sadie? That is so lovely! If Danielle ever has a baby and it is a girl- she's going to name her Sadie too! I love that name.
This is not Matthew Gerig, this is Bess Hunter Gerig.
