After 26 years at the same department, my mom has officially retired! Her last day was yesterday, December 4th. We are so excited for her!
Last Thursday the department threw a City Wide retirement lunch for her. There were over 100 people in attendance from not only the City but surrounding agencies. It was impressive the support and gratitude in the room.
Of course Memere's girls were in attendance. Lauren and Julie wouldn't leave her side. And there were times where Sadie was on her other hip!
Justin and I don't get many pictures together. I love this shot!
The room was full of supporters and well wishers. Many of them stopped me to tell me how much Mom had taught them, helped them or been there for them. Justin, Audrey, John and I were all full of pride hearing the stories.
She will be missed in her workplace, that is for sure. But we are all excited to have her around more. Congratulations Mom. You earned every second.

Way to go Ann! now she gets to spend more time with all her beautiful grandbabies.
I also Love that photo of you are Justin I would have never recognized him if you hadn't said something. :)
